Will Guidara Announced as 2025 ISPA Visionary Award Recipient
The International SPA Association (ISPA) proudly announces Will Guidara as the recipient of the 2025 ISPA Visionary Award. Guidara will be honored at the ISPA Conference and 35th anniversary celebration at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, from March 11 to 13, 2025.
Guidara, a renowned figure in the hospitality industry, is the author of Unreasonable Hospitality, the New York Times bestseller that chronicles the lessons in service and leadership he has learned over the course of his distinguished career as a restaurateur. As the former co-owner of Eleven Madison Park, Guidara led the restaurant to unprecedented acclaim, including four stars from the New York Times, three Michelin stars, and the number one spot on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list in 2017.
“Will is an extraordinary inspiration to everyone he encounters, setting a benchmark for service excellence,” said Lynne McNees, president of ISPA. “His vision and passion for ‘unreasonable hospitality’ have resonated within the spa community, elevating service standards and empowering teams to deliver exceptional and customized experiences. His mark on our community is profound and lasting.”
A Cornell University School of Hotel Administration graduate, Guidara has coauthored four cookbooks, earned a listing on Crain’s New York Business’s “40 Under 40” list and received Wall Street Journal Magazine’s Innovator Award. He also hosts the Welcome Conference, an annual hospitality symposium that fosters idea-sharing, inspiration and community-building among like-minded professionals.
Each year, ISPA presents the ISPA Visionary Award to a true visionary who has inspired and made significant contributions to help advance the spa industry and its members.
