International Coach Federation, International SPA Association Earn APEX 2014 Honors
Lexington, Kentucky, USA (June 17, 2014) —The International Coach Federation (ICF) and International SPA Association (ISPA) have earned a combined five APEX 2014 Awards, recognizing excellence in publications work by the associations’ marketing and communications teams. The two organizations are clients of Associations International (AI).
Now in its 26th year, the APEX Awards program is an international competition that recognizes excellence in publications work by professional communicators. APEX honorees are selected based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and overall communications effectiveness. The 2014 APEX judging process was extremely competitive, with more than 2,000 entries submitted for consideration.
“We are very proud that the creativity and dedication of the AI staff resulted in our clients receiving five of only seven APEX 2014 Awards presented in Kentucky,” said ICF CEO/Executive Director Magdalena Mook. “It is a great accomplishment and reflects our commitment to providing outstanding service to our clients.”
A total of 100 APEX 2014 Grand Awards were presented to honor outstanding works in 11 major categories. ICF’s Credential Legacy Campaign earned a Grand Award for Campaigns, Programs and Plans (Nonprofit, Small Office Division).
Launched in September 2013, the ICF Credential Legacy Campaign shares the stories of ICF Credential-holders from around the world. Collectively, these coaches’ testimonials illustrate the numerous personal and professional benefits associated with the pursuit and achievement of an ICF Credential. The campaign also educates consumers about the value of partnering with a professional coach who holds an ICF Credential.
Four AI publications were honored with APEX 2014 Awards of Excellence, recognizing exceptional works across 122 individual categories.
ISPA’s Pulse magazine earned an APEX 2014 Award of Excellence in the Green Magazines, Journals and Tabloids category for its March/April 2013 Sustainability Issue. The issue was edited by Mae Mañacap-Johnson, with design and art direction by Marja Walker.
“As the leading spa industry trade publication for more than 20 years, Pulse magazine continues to rank as a valuable member benefit to the International SPA Association membership,” said ISPA President Lynne McNees. “We are proud to be recognized for quality content with a prestigious APEX Award.”
