Lauren is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in marketing, community development, and project management. A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Community Leadership Development, Lauren has a proven track record of excellence in branding, event coordination, and organizational leadership.
Most recently, Lauren served as the Executive Director of the Paris-Bourbon County Chamber of Commerce where she led promotional and marketing initiatives, developed innovative campaigns, and maintained strong partnerships with local media outlets. Under her leadership, the Chamber grew its membership base and budget while enhancing its community impact through strategic events and collaborations.
Her career journey includes roles such as Activities Director at Bourbon Heights, Inc. and Outreach Coordinator at the Paris-Bourbon County Library. Her early career as a multimedia reporter at WBKO-TV in Bowling Green, KY, honed her storytelling, deadline management, and communication skills.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lauren is actively involved in her community. She serves on various boards, Directors and Leadership Central Kentucky Board of Directors and is the chair of the Legends of Bourbon County Thoroughbred Fund.
Lauren is distinguished by her expertise in brand and marketing development, graphic design, event planning, and fundraising. Her skills in website development, social media strategy, public speaking, and team management make her a versatile leader capable of driving impactful initiatives in any organization.
Personally, she is a wife to her husband Andrew and mom to her three young children Liam, Mason and John. She is an avid runner, enjoys baking on the weekends, and loves being with her family.
